Great place to start the day off. Great staff Charlie the owner in a nice man and friendly. Makes a mean fromlet.

After running passed CJ's for years, my wife and I finally decided to try it and were pleasantly surprised with how good it was! The restaurant is tiny, truly an authentic counter diner with a few additional tables, so expect you may wait. However, once in, the food here is honestly very good. Portions are large and prices very reasonable. There are a lot of good diner options in the area, but we find ourselves always ending up at CJ's because of how good and authentic it feels!

This is an old school coffee shop in Rockville Centre. The staff are super friendly. They are known for their bacon which is delicious. We stopped in for a quick bite. Food amazing and was affordable. Their split pea soup was to die for. I'll be thinking about it all week

Loved the breakfast at CJ's and the feel of a small town laidback restaurant! I went here on an otherwise lazy Sunday morning in the summer and enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes that had me reminiscing my childhood days, and a refreshing berry smoothie! The service was fast and our server was happy to chat with us. It was truly the perfect summer day with tasty food and great energy! Looking forward to the next great breakfast/ brunch I have here!

Nice little local spot, food was good! Service was a little slow, and it's a very tight fit, but I'd definitely order take out, and go in for an occasional visit

Nice casual breakfast spot. Service was readily available and lots of locals which is always a good sign. The place is small but bustling on a Monday morning. I will be back! Good traditional breakfast places in the area are not easy to find!

If you're looking for a really solid coffee shop / diner, you've found it. It has that old school feeling, but kept up to date and super clean. I sat at the counter, and there are quite a few tables and booths around. It's fairly busy on a Sunday morning without getting too wild or overwhelming. Just folks coming in and out of their regular neighborhood place. The staff is super welcoming, attentive, and quick, always offering to top up a coffee or refill a water. They handled the busyness expertly, without stumbling or stress. I got the two eggs with bacon and potatoes, all perfectly cooked. The coffee was exactly what you'd expect, with no complaints. Definitely coming back here for more.

Popped in here for brunch with my son because we were in the area I love the way the place is decorated. I love the quirky sings and the checkered tables. It's a bit like stepping into a time capsule which was cute The food wasn't overwhelmingly good nor underwhelming either. The burger tasted like a regular burger should taste. It wasn't dry or overcooked though. Eggs tasted like eggs I enjoyed the nostalgic memories this place evoked Point to note: If you pay with a credit card you are charged more but it's not much. There's no way I was going to lose 5 points per dollar dining out points though so I acquiesced to this annoying charge
